PART 1- October 6-14
Day 1- Monday October 6
Arrival. Transfer to hotel in San Cristobal
Day 2- Tuesday October 7
Visit the four most popular locations on the 360 San Cristóbal Galapagos tour
Start with a visit to Bahía Rosa Blanca, a small bay located northeast of San Cristobal Island. Characterized by several small beaches, but whose main attraction is the large beach located in the center of the small bay where there are a number of large sand dunes. Next head over to Bahía Sardina, a beautiful white sandy beach where you can relax, swim and snorkel. The afternoon is spent deep water snorkeling at Kicker Rock with the possibility of seeing hammerhead sharks, rays and Galapagos sharks. Following this visit Punta Pitt, located to the northeast of San Cristóbal. Formed by a hill, which has a small beach full of minerals creating olive green sand, which shines and also burns in the sunlight. Here there may be an opportunity to participate in a fishing activity, depending on conditions
Day 3- Wednesday October 8
Kicker Rock dive-2 dives or snorkel: This iconic Galapagos side is an eroded volcano, now 2 rocks rising 500 feet up out of the sea and resembling what locals called a 'sleeping lion', thus it's other name, Leon Dormido. As majestic as it is to see topside, underneath is equally impressive. The water is clear and sightings include: Eagle Rays, Galapagos sharks, Hammerheads, Sea Turtles, Starfish and a variety of tropical reef fish.
Day 4-Thursday October 9
Espanola day tour- snorkel and and tour (lunch included) – one dive can be added for $60 if you wish
Departure to be advised by Wreck Bay diving- goes from the San Cristobal Pier, bound for the island of Espanola (approx. 2 hours) Arrival at Punta Suarez, hike to observe a large number of birds –blue footed booby, Nazca booby, Galapagos Hawk
See Spanish Marine Iguana red-green, colonies of sea lions
Continue towards Isla Gardner for dive
Day 5- Friday October 10
Transfer to dock for boat to Santa Cruz 6:30am
.transfer to hotel. Tour to highlands and giant tortoises by taxi
Day 6- Friday October 11
Land Tour of North Seymour -time and pickup location to be confirmed (lunch included)
- Easy to Moderate – even terrain, snorkeling optional in Seymour
- 30-45 ft. boat – maximum capacity 16-20 passengers
- Transfer by taxi or bus canal- about 1 hour
- Boat transfer to Seymour Island (approx. 30-60 min.)
- Tour the island to see bird colonies, as well as the unique flora and fauna, and topography of the island
- Optional snorkeling(short time period)
- Return to Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz Island. Night in hotel in Puerto Ayora
Day 7- Sunday October 12
Diving- North Seymour- 2 dives x 3 people
Land tour – Isabela x 1- 1 person (non diver)
Day 8- Monday October 13
Tour of Bartoleme (lunch included)
(boat departs early morning – returns late afternoon)
Moderate to Strenuous – wooden boardwalk with 300+ stairs to summit, snorkeling optional
*Bus or taxi transfer to Baltra Island about 1 hour
*Boat transfer to Bartolome Island (approx. 2-3 hours)
- *Visit Pinnacle Rock, an impressive lava formation that towers high above the water
- *Look for our very small species of Galapagos penguins resting on the rocks, swimming and fishing
- *Snorkeling offer the possibility of close encounters with white tip sharks, friendly sea lions, sea turtles and a variety of fish
- *Enjoy a beautiful pink and white sand beach where sea turtles lay their eggs, generation after generation
- *Hike on a well-developed trail with wooden boardwalks and (more than 300) stairs to the summit
- *From the summit see Pinnacle Rock and the beach far below, and Santiago Island in the distance
Day 9-Tuesday October 14
Transfer to Baltra Seymour airport for flight out with stop to see giant tortoises in the highlands on the way
PART 2- October 14-21

Day 10-Wednesday October 15
Diving- Gordon Rocks- 2 dives
Day 11- Thursday October 16
Transfer to dock for boat to Isabela- Our rep will meet the guests and will explain all tour times
Day 12- Friday October 17
Tour to Los Tuneles
(time of day depends on tide)
*Boat transfer to Los Tuneles (approx. 45-60 min.)
*Tour the interesting rock formations by boat to see blue-footed boobies, penguins, turtles. Enjoy the arches, overhangs and other unique topography of the this area. Optional snorkeling to sea seahorses, turtles
*By most visitors to Isabela this is rated the best day tour – a “hidden gem”
Day 13 – Saturday October 18
Tour to Volcano Sierra Negra
Strenuous – hiking over uneven terrain
- transportation to the highlands
- three hour strenuous hike to the world's second largest volcanic crater
- on a clear day enjoy the view of the northern volcanoes of Isabela and Isla Fernandina from Volcan Chico
- Hike back down to the bus
Day 14 – Saturday October 19
Tour to Tintoreras/Bay Tour of Isabela
Easy to Moderate
.Kayaking look for the small Galapagos penguins on the rocks or fishing
visit a marine iguana colony and a sea lion colony near by
Day 15- Monday October 20
Free time in Isabela
Suggestions
visit the tortoise breeding center
walk back to town on a boardwalk through the wetlands
look for flamingos feeding in the lagoons
rent bicycles and cruise the trails or visit the Wall of Tears
Day 16- Tuesday October 21
8:00 am Transfer to Isabela airport for flight to Baltra
